These six 'social news' sites have large communities of web users who share and rate interesting, useful and fun things on the internet. (There are other sites but we have selected the most popular).

Clicking on a link will automatically add the address of the story you are reading to one of these sites, letting you share it with others. You need to register on your chosen site to share bookmarks, but registration is free.

An example of how this works: CPRE Oxfordshire uses del.ico.us for its cprenews headlines service.
